This Gallery represents a variety of work that I have done with slip transfers as applied to various “Alternative” surface treatments. The treatments used are not “Raku” as we think of it, but utilize a raku kiln to heat the pieces up, and then various techniques are used to achieve the surfaces. Needless to say, new examples of these various bodies of work appear only when the weather is conducive to outdoor firings.
